Planning and managing teacher learning is one of the professional practices in the British Council's teacher educator framework. It involves demonstrating familiarity with a current range of learning activities for teachers and associated modes of input. It also involves applying your understanding of specific learning outcomes in order to select the most appropriate learning activity. It also involves describing teachers in relation to their learning needs and teaching context, defining aims/learning outcomes and objectives in relation to teacher needs, considering the benefits of co-planning and negotiated content and many other areas.
