What is rhythm in the Reading journey?  How can it affect readers and their varied pace?

We can use any familiar objects in an unfamiliar way to make our lesson more attractive and easier to remember.

I have always liked reading... But during the actual lesson? Some teachers consider it a waste of time, mainly because it does not belong to the material needed to work towards an exam!

2020 has changed our lives. Clients and students are in home office. I am in home office. I sit before the computer screen, my flat in the background, and my cats stroll around and jump on my lap. Of course, to a certain extent all this can now be integrated into the online English lesson.  

Teenagers can be notoriously difficult to motivate. Yes, that's true. Instead of playing the blame-game and figuring out who is to blame for their lack of engagement, we should try to observe the world from their perspective. We were once teenagers, and we need to use that experience to engage and motivate our students.

One of the things I love when I teach is improvising. Don't get me wrong; I always prepare a lesson plan. But most of the times I don't stick to it. Maybe it's because my students need more explanations or more practice, maybe because sometimes students like the subjects so much and they ask questions or start discussion. I have never considered this lost time.
